Problem Library operates from a set of shared beliefs about what is needed in the world.

Reading and conversation have always been at the heart of our organization. All of our programs began from critical thinking that was informed by brilliant writers and theorists.

As the organization matures, we believe it is important to make the beliefs, opinions, and reference points that inform us available to everyone.

Putting our thinking into writing helps us clarify our positions. It also makes them open to criticism and alignment.

We hope the writings collected here give you deeper insight into who we are, what we think is important, and why we do the work we do.

As an open organization, we are always available for conversation about these topics.

If you'd like to dig in, please contact us.
