Tonight: Close out your weekend with tea, dinner, and music

Join us tonight for a gentle end to your weekend with tea, light dinner, and ethereal folk music

Curated by Noah Solt, the evening will begin with a Gongfu Cha tea experience, led by Schuyler, designed to engage smell, taste, and touch. After tea, we’ll share a vegan-friendly meal from Noori, and then drift into a layered blend of guitar, cello, piano, and ambient electronics with Noah and Roziht. At once otherworldly and strangely familiar, their sound invites a state of deep attention.

We’ll close out the night with a short, optional time for conversation and reflection. The entire evening is offered as a gentle gift, a space for being with and attuning to your senses. We invite you to come without any intention other than offering yourself a moment to simply be.

We hope to see you tonight.

Come out on Tuesday for a screening of Clarice Lispector’s only known video interview

Withheld from broadcast—at Lispector’s request—until after her death, this episode of Panorama Especial is the only known audiovisual recording of her available. Throughout the wide-ranging and somewhat quixotic interview, Lispector is at once vulnerable and aloof as she reflects on the creative energies that drove her—forces she followed more often than she understood.

We invite you to read Lispector’s short story The Egg and the Chicken. a work Lispector herself claimed not to understand. All attendees will receive a specially designed booklet of the reading to take home.

The evening will start with a presentation & conversation on Lispector before moving to the screening. We will close with a discussion weaving together the interview, the reading, and the universal creative energy available to us all—a visitation, a gift, a mystery.

Join us as we soak in the words of this singular writer.
