Join us this Thursday, December 4th for the closing of In No Particular Order
In No Particular Order brings together paintings by three emerging, San Francisco–based artists—Alice Barreras, Nico Lown Heitz, and Sofi Criswell. Join us for the closing exhibition: a celebratory evening and a great moment to discover new work and support local artists.
Throughout the year, the trio has worked closely with the broader Problem Library community through a discussion and working group we call “The Conviviality Cohort”. Together, they have created public experiments in hospitality, care, and human connection.
This inquiry grows directly from their creative practices. Each artist turns to myths, relationships, and personal stories as a way to make sense of the world on their own terms. Painting becomes both a form of play and a method for making something real—something that helps shape a shared understanding of a world that’s constantly unfolding.
As a collection, the works on view are as much about growing up as they are about growing aware. The show’s title reflects their artistic process and the way growth and learning happen: in waves, in phases, and in no particular order.
We’re thrilled to support these emerging artists who have come to be an integral part of our community.
We hope to see you there.
