Too Much Information (TMI) is a new event series presented by Problem Children students and mentors, as well as collaborators from the broader Problem Library community.
Throughout the weekend we’ll hear from a diverse array of former Problem Children artists like: Carter and Kaiya from 2023; Gio, Chelsie, airis from 2022; and Monica from 2020/2021. Each of these ambitious young artists have prepared content that speaks to their interests, talents, and understandings of what it means to live a creative life.
We’ll also hear from artists and designers from the broader Problem Library community like: Lynette Nicole Betancur, a sculptor and [working] collaborator; Georgia Hodges a ceramicist and founder of Far Out West community garden; Danny Jones, a designer an 3D artist who shepherded the TMI visual language into existence; Nicole Meldahl of Western Neighborhoods Project; Sharon Sheehan, a long-time Problem Library advisor and board member; and Nate Zack, a filmmaker and 2023 Problem Children mentor.
These voices and more will come together in conversation (literally and by juxtaposition) to create a day of inter-generational exchange and camaraderie. Join us as we experiment with this new expansion of the Problem Children program.
Tickets will be available at the door, but space is limited, so we encourage you to purchase your tickets online today.
General two-day tickets are $50 (single day tickets are also available)
Student tickets are $22
