Family Artmaking Workshop & Parent Conversation on Nurturing Children’s Creative Development

Join San Francisco Children’s Art Center (SFCAC) and Problem Library for a morning of creative fun and thoughtful conversation for families with children ages 5-10 years old. Adults working in the education space are also welcome to join.

This family workshop will combine hands-on artmaking with conversations for the grown-ups on strategies to nurture children’s creative development. Families will create together with a 3-D building activity that exemplifies the benefits of a process-oriented methodology and the ways this approach to artmaking sparks ideation, fosters critical thinking, and enhances communication skills.

This workshop is taught by SFCAC Programs Director Amy Balsbaugh.
