Thursday September 1st 2022 ↘

Since mid-July, Jennifer has been using the [working] space at 536 Davis St as a studio to expand her, usually, nature-based practice. Through iterative drawings, installations, and experimentation the space has transformed from a studio into an absorbing exhibition.

The afternoon is split into two parts – you are welcome to join us for one or both:

A fieldwork drawing workshop from 4:30—5:45pm
In this workshop Jennifer will share the background to her fieldwork drawing practice. This drawing ritual is about human mark-making as well as exploring the concept of presence in the landscape. As a participant you will be provided prompts and supplies to create your own rock and shadow inspired drawings.

No prior drawing experience is necessary. Please RSVP by replying to this email if you would like to participate in this portion of the event.

A closing reception from 6—7pm
Come view and learn about the work Jennifer has created at 536 Davis St.
